Where is Mablethorpe?

Mablethorpe has been a popular tourist destination for over a hundred years, offering a traditional seaside town experience suitable for the entire family. The town centre runs through the centre of Mablethorpe up to the beachfront, with many shops, cafes and things to do located all around.

The seafront also has a lot to offer! Our award-winning beach is home to a sand train, donkey rides, and has a number of shops, cafes and bars overlooking our beautiful beach. Mablethorpe Funfair looks over the High Street and beachfront and is one of the most popular attractions in our area.

Mablethorpe is set on the East Coast of Lincolnshire and has great public transport connections to the surrounding towns. Find the easiest way to get here, whether you’re travelling by car or public transport.

The seaside towns of Sutton on Sea, Trusthorpe and Sandilands are all just a short 2.5-mile drive from the town centre of Mablethorpe, with busses running daily.

Mablethorpe and the surrounding villages are steeped in history; with a prehistoric forest off the coast of Trusthorpe, the discovery of ancient Roman coins in Mablethorpe, and Sutton-on-Sea’s history with smugglers!
