Trusthorpe beach is one of the hidden gems of the Lincolnshire Coast! Take a stroll down this dog-friendly beach towards Mablethorpe or Sutton on Sea.

A short walk to the North and you’ll come across Queen’s Park in Mablethorpe. A short walk to the South you’ll come across the Beach Bar in Sutton on Sea.

The Submerged Forest

If you are lucky enough to be on Trusthorpe Beach at the right time of the year, you’ll notice a couple of odd-shaped rocks coming out from the sand below.

These are the remains of an ancient prehistoric forest when Lincolnshire wasn’t a coastal county and was connected to Doggerland, which joined us to the mainland of Europe!
